Half way there!

We can't believe it. He's definitely a boy. We had the big U/S last week where they did all the measurements and told us it's a boy (again). Two weeks ago I started feeling him move, the greatest feeling. And Patrick can feel him kick now too. So, I am no longer listening to his heartbeat everyday...his lil kicks are enough. I am still not showing (or barely, I just look like a tubs). Next appt. is on Tues where they will let us know of any results from the U/S. Looking forward to our Portand trip next week!!

P.S. I think we have a name!

It's a Boy!

Yes, we are on the BLUE team. I hope they are right! It seemed pretty obvious and I could tell before the tech said it. We went on Sat night (thanks Erin who suggested getting an U/S at a 3D place for gender determination) and got to see the lil guy. At one point he was sucking his thumb and then opening and closing his mouth as if he was chewing on something. It was very exciting and Patrick is beyond excited to have his boy. Today was my 17th week OB appt. and everything is looking good. Baby is right where he should be. I am not really showing, Patrick and I can tell slightly, but I don't think anyone else can. I haven't gained any weight which could be good and bad, but the doctor was not concerned at all. We are scheduled for an U/S on Feb. 4th. Looking forward to seeing baby again!

14 weeks

I think I have a tiny bump. Its feels pretty hard and its right where I find the baby's heart beat. I'd take a picture, but I don't think we'd see anything. Happy New Year to you all. We celebrated with sparkling cider and actually stayed awake for the new year. I can't believe we will be parents this year. Have a good day!

Officially in 2nd Tri!

13w 3d today! It feels great and I am feeling a lot better. I can't believe we are a third of our way there. It still seems so far away though. I thought if I had started this in the 1st tri all I would talk about was worrying....ABOUT EVERYTHING. I now just listen to the heart beat nightly..still sounds amazing in the 150's. Keep on beating baby!!
